This 14k gold Möbius-style bangle bracelet is finely engraved with the end part of The Heart Sutra, also know as the Prajna Paramita Sutra or the Perfection of Wisdom. This sutra is the essence of the Buddha's teaching on "emptiness," or the manner in which things truly exist. This sutra is chanted daily in monasteries and practice centers throughout the world.

The mantra can be translated with slight variations depending on the source, but, generally, it means "Gone, gone, everyone gone to the other shore, awakening, svaha." "Svaha" does not have a direct translation, but it is a Sanskrit word often spoken at the end of a prayer or mantra, similar to how Christians say "amen" at the end of a prayer.
